latest acquisitions & never-ending winter

If I look outside the window, the whole world is white again. Snow, snow, snow - it doesn't seem to stop this winter. I love snow when it is white and powdery, but I really can't stand this muddy, dirty snow sludge when it melts. However, at the moment I'm drinking hot choclate with marshmallows - so delicious ♥ - and wrapped myself in a nice, warm blanket - the best recept for cold winter days.

This week I bought new Accessories at Accessorize. I work for Accessorize since October as a temp (and get nice donations, hihi). If you don’t know the store, check out the online shop.

I LOVE those earrings! They seem to be your mum’s earrings right from the 70s.

In a few minutes I have to get ready and meet Christoph, my boyfriend, in the city. First shopping and afterwards dinner at Roppongi (Japanese bar). I’m so looking forward to Gyoza with Goma and Sushi! Japanese food is the best!

Actually there would be no time for doing such things. If I wasn’t lazy, I would sit here in my room and do some revision for my graduation exams, prepare my installation for arts or at least I would try to find some information about certain universities and make up a plan for the future. But I’m sitting here doing nothing really important, hearing nice music (Radiohead) and drinking hot choclate. However, I try to suppress those thoughts. Pure escapism?

The last few days were rather boring... thanks to laryngitis! I still suffer from headaches and my throat hurts. Winter's dark sides, just like red noses and purple fingers.

Just two more months to go and spring will come! ♥
Actually spring and summer mean a lot of floral patterns to me. Although a lot of people think they're just annoying, since you can't walk into any store without finding 20 pieces with flowers on it, I can't get enough flowery dresses, skirts, tights, tops, rings and whatsoever.
It's an obsession I have had for at least 3 years and my closet turns more and more into a flower garden.

Hello everyone! welcome to Rather Vacant!

To be honest I'm a little bit excited, because I've wanted to start a blog for so long!
